Here is the face of happiness! Tina, one of our stunning Canadian brides, got married in the lovely and unique setting of the Calgary Zoo. What better place to wear feathers? We love when one of our brides expresses her individuality, since that's what The Feathered Head is dedicated to. She creatively made our vintage ivory ostrich feather birdcage veil her own by poufing the French Net underneath the plumes and wearing it as a fascinator. We think you'll agree that it's Perfection!

Loving the happiness of our latest bride! Megan wanted vintage elegance but also a bit of whimsy. So, we restored a 1950s pearl crown but left in some of the imperfections, like odd bends, to add character. We then paired it with a cheerful and beautiful lace vintage veil. It was princess perfection without the preciousness! We also designed headpieces for the mother of the groom and the maid of honor with whimsy and elegance - mission accomplished!

Counting the days until our next wild show at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender! We'll be setting up our mini-store once again at the BHoF Bazaar at the Orleans Hotel and Casino, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas. Run, don't walk, to the Esplanade Room for fabulous vintage hats, feather fascinators, boas and much, much more!
Not only is it several days of incredible fun, learning, shopping and performance, the Weekender is a fundraiser for The Burlesque Hall of Fame, the only museum of its kind to feature the history and artists of the distinctly modern art form of burlesque.
