VIKKI - Bridal Headband Veil

In ancient Greece, women wore flowers, vines and leaves woven into crown-like wreaths in their hair as simple decoration to indicate a great honor or to celebrate special occasions. People felt a deep connection with nature, which was given importance in the religions of the day. As many flowers and plants had special meanings, goddesses were identified by wearing specific kinds of flora. So even if you’re not celebrating the wild rites of Dionysus (the god of wine and merrymaking) by wearing a wreath of grape leaves and ivy, vintage Vikki will make your wedding day glorious. She is a whisper soft, pale cerulean blue headband of translucent, ultra-fine mesh petals with tiny light blue silk leaves and delicate pearly pistils surrounding two 4" side circles. A single white biot feather discretely arcs over the mesh top of the wire-based headband. Attached is a tonally matching whitish/light bluish circular tulle veil (26" in diameter) that can worn as a small blusher in front of the face or in back to complete your lofty beauty. Remove the veil after the wedding day and wear the headband alone as an exquisite party headpiece. Be the goddess you know you are with this vintage stunner! Due to Vikki's vintage, please note there are two very minor age spots on one of the side silk leaves...they are barely noticeable and do not detract from her loveliness. Headband measures 14" end to end across top. One size fits most but Vikki's petite size makes her ideal for smaller heads.
